When in her brighter moods she can be easily swayed into a lot of things for the sake of wanting to keep the happiness burning inside of her!Needless to say, that the girl can't be happy all the time.
The New Story
Once Upon time in the land of Gaiatia, there lived a girl. This girl was your classic over powered character that lived as a Princess under the rule of an evil step-mother that plagued her land. Was it mentioned that the Princess had a unique power passed on through the generations? Or that she had animal friends to help her through life just as her normal friends did? It all sounds fairly family, so one could imagine that through tough trials and harsh character development, the Princess managed to save her people, avenge her mother that was, of course, murdered by the stepmother, and take her rightful place on the throne over a land that had found peace and love once again. But, this was not that story. Not anymore.After the princess found herself being crowned as queen, after she watched over the land and was prepared to pass her on to power of the elements, earth, fire, water, air, and just a bit of electricity., on to the next generation. . . Everything changed. The girl was ripped from her story and placed in a brand new world that she wasn’t expecting. One moment, she was enjoying the peace of ‘The End,’ that she rightfully deserved after years of fighting and the next, she was thrown into a grassy plain with a grey hooded being standing over her. Blaze, panicked and shouted to the enigma.“What have you done? Where am I?”The hooded figure simply spoke without wavering or hesitation. “Blaze Phoenix, your story is over. You’ve fought, you’ve feared, you’ve Conquered, and you’ve succeeded. You lived your life to it’s fullest in Gaiatia, but I simply couldn’t let your story end. So. . . I’ve archived your book in my library. You’ll be forever remembered.”That didn’t bring a peaceful state of mind to the girl. She felt like she was being threatened and her best way to protect herself was to set loose the flames from her core. She thrusted a hand out, expecting the flames to engulf this unknown being. But, nothing happened.“Yes, that’s also a bit of a change. You’ve had an over flow of powers all your life. You’ve been limited these days.” The being spoke without an ounce of remorse.“What do you mean? You. . . You took my power? !” The girl grasped her hair, pulling the strands into her view so she could see if it were true. Blaze who’s hair always glistened with the color of the rainbow (save for those times where she had no power at all) now held the shade of chestnut brown. “You can’t do that! My power is. . . It’s who I am!”“You can be so much more.”“What if I’m attacked? Wh-What if this world is cruel? !”“You’ll have some means to protect yourself. You were born under an earth sign, so I will allow you to utilize that.”“But, what about my fire? I’m /named/ for my flames! Can I have those?”“Maybe one day they’ll return. Not in full, not as you once were. Unless there are special occasions. We’ll determine in time.”“And what exactly am I supposed to do here? Where am I supposed to live? What about my family?!”“You may live a brand new life. Your home, I suppose can be provided by us to make your own. As for your family, They’ll live their lives, happy in the end.”“They’ll know I’m not there!”“No, they won’t. For peace to be left with them, the story will be as you left it. Yourself included even though you are no longer apart of it.”“What. . . Do I do now?”“You can write new stories. You can make new worlds for my archives. Be a dream writer. Travel those worlds and be happy.”“I can’t be happy without what I am. . .”“That’s not true. You have always had potential, Blaze. You just have to find it in yourself again.”“And my friends. . . ? The ones that aren’t from Gaiatia?”“There are few left. Those you remember now are those that may stay with you.”“How long Do you expect me to live like this?”“Until this story is done. And then you will be thrown in another and another. As long as I live, you live.”The hooded figure stepped past Blaze. They held a book in their hands that seemed to come out of no where. There were long moments of silence as the enigma wrote in that book, leaving Blaze to contemplate all that was said. It didn’t take her long before she sank to the floor in a pain. She felt tears burn her eyes for all that she’s lost. Her friends, her family, her life. . . All locked away in a book that she would never be able to access. What would happen if she made new friends here? Would she lose them too? What would happen if she fell In love here? Would she have to be heartbroken for leaving them behind? What if she had a family?“Don’t mourn what you lost. It’s still there. It’s not gone, just. . . Distanced from you.” The being spoke when they finally closed the book they wrote in. “I do hope you’ll be peaceful here. Be happy. I’ve given you the blanks to fill in as you please.” The hooded being placed a hand on the crumbling girl’s head, as if to comfort her, but Blaze was too broken to care. “You’ll be fine. Good day.”and just like that she was in a brand new world. She didn’t have her family. She had to start over. She cried for hours until her tears ran dry and she finally picked herself up from the floor. Her green eyes watched the cottage that was meant from her. It was in the middle of a forest that, at least made her some comfort. It reminded her of her mother and calmed her. As she walked inside of the building she saw that it was blank from almost everything. There was no bed, no dressers, it was complete devoid of life. The only two things in there that could be seen was a book shelf packed with blank books with all colors under the rainbow and a desk with one book opened up to its first page. Beside it was a black inked pen and a pencil. So. . . This was her life now? Writing and exploring? A life without all that she had? How. . . Terrifying.That was the end of Blaze Pheonix, Queen of Gaiatia and yet, the Beginning of Blaze Pheonix The Dream Writer.
The Power Downs and Power Ups.
Lost PowerIt Should be stated that these powers are from her original story and currently have no part in her waking life.Blaze was known as a Child of the Elements, that being said, she had powers the mimicked such a name!She could use the elements (Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Electricity) To defend herself! But, that much is a given! On top of that, each element had a side power that partnered along with it.Water’s secondary trait was illusions! Blaze could make things appear in the eyes of those around her that weren’t actually there. This method was almost always used as a distraction to help those in battle recuperate after a bad attack.Wind’s secondary power wasn’t anything special as it was, in fact, the aces to electricity! That is why the electric compound was added to the elemental list!These abilities while useful together were extremely over powered after their time had come and gone, so the Archive Master stripped those abilities from Blaze when she was sent to this new world.As for Air and Water, those powers have been sealed away in the Gaiatia archives just as Blaze’s original life was. There are no signs of those powers returning at all and, honestly, Blaze can comfortability live without them. It is her gift of flames that she cares most deeply about!Current PowersEarth’s partner ability was a melodic sound. Blaze could sing a song to gain control of people. This ability was almost always used to elicit peace within people to stop a fight! It was also used as a means for the girl to befriend all sorts of wild animals! Sometimes when she sings, those that listened could hear instruments or a chorus in the background. It is said that that is the earth singing along with her.Dream Writer Abilities and ResponsibilitiesBlaze’s Responsibilities of a dream writer are rather simple. . . She must live! Each day she gets up and meets new people, goes on new adventures, the book she has on her new life is filled in! Anyone that can see that book Titled ‘The Dream Writer,’ has access to every moment in her story from where it started to where it currently is to the day! There are things in there such as her thoughts and emotions in the moment of those things!The only power Blaze has access to is bringing things into someone’s ‘story.’ Whether they notice or use it at all is completely up to that person as it’s forbidden for her to point it out to them.L O C K E D PowersThese are abilities that could be unlocked within Blaze in her waking life!Fire had the partner power of acidic or toxic saliva. Blaze could shoot out the liquid to temporarily (in small doses) blind. In larger doses, the blindness could be permanent! As for the acid, depending on how long it was allowed to cook, it could burn through solid material!Currently the fire inside of her sparks to life when she is overflowing with anger or feels very passionately about something. The signs of this happening are easy to notice! If Blaze is angered smoke would release from her nose and mouth when she breathes. It looks very comedic. The second sign is when she's more passionate than angry are in her eyes! The Pools of emerald green will dance with little flecks of fire.
The Forest Maiden
LocationBlaze's Home is located in the very forest that she was summoned to. The area is covered with beautiful oak trees and wild flowers that go unbothered by her presence! There is a small waterfall just beyond the brush of tree that she gets her water from and, through a thirty minute walk, there is a bustling town!ArchitectureThe Home That she lives in actually blends rather well on the outside with the nature around it. It's a decently sized cabin that's outside is covered with false leaves and flowers to keep it from distracting away from the natural beauty of the forest.The inside of the cabin has six rooms total! The Living room, Kitchen, Pet's Room, Library, Guest Bathroom, and Blaze's Room!ExtraDespite Living within the forest without actually hiding away from people, rumors have already started to spread that a magical being lives in the forest. This person is referred to as the maiden of the forest and such rumors have made people feel slightly afraid to enter even though there hasn't been any harm caused to anyone. But, Hey, it's not like Blaze is going to complain!
